The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Taiwan) is a national non-profit organisation that seeks to promote the humane treatment of non-human animals by legal means. This includes education, campaigning, lobbying, legislation, and the prosecution of persistent animal abusers. The Taiwan SPCA also works to help improve established shelters, and rescues and rehomes animals in need of help.
